Filipinos find it relaxing and stress-relieving. There are a lot of places in
Baguio which is really suitable for family gathering or night out with friends.
These are places like the Minesview Park, Burnham Park and Camp John Hay. Tourism
is one of the main industries in Baguio because a lot of tourists from lowland
places and even other countries visit this place. Hence, people are starting to
know what the province really has other than its famous parks. In the earlier times, Baguio is more widely
known than Tagaytay. Tagaytay, on the other hand, became known by the people as
Business Entrepreneurs find it as a good place to start or expand their
business because compare to Baguio, it is much closer to other cities. So, a
lot of establishments, hotels, restaurants, parks and others were built around
the place. Tagaytay is getting modern today and the weather is not really like
it was before. Baguio has preserved the tourist spots that people always visit.
Regardless of how modern the generation today is, we can still find good marks
of old times in Baguio. An example of this are the Igorot tribes who are still showing and portraying their beliefs and traditions to tourists despite the civilization. Their traditions and lifestyle still stays with
them, and surprisingly, igorot people are very fund of speaking fluent English
to accommodate tourists and American citizens very well. So, tourists tend to
come back to spend their vacation in this place. And in comparison to Tagaytay,
Baguio has a lower cost of living. Even though Tagaytay is just a drive from
Manila, Baguio is still the place most people are looking for. Despite of the
long distance and time to travel to this place, we are pretty sure that we can
instantly feel the cold weather and warm welcome that Baguio and its people
have reserved for its visitors.
Baguio and Tagaytay is one of the most visited
tourist destinations in the Philippines. They are both the Summer Capital of
the Philippines. But if we are to enumerate and compare the difference of these
two places, Baguio surely is better than Tagaytay.
